Deliverance Ministry: Then and Now

Jesus spent a good part of his ministry teaching about and dealing with spiritual warfare and the demonic realm. If you consider his public ministry, he spent the bulk of his time preaching, healing, and delivering people.

Accounts of Jesus ministering deliverance are plentiful:

● Mark 1:23-28 Jesus cast a demon out of a man in a synagogue
● Luke 13 – Jesus casts the spirit of infirmity out of a woman
● Matthew 8:16
● Matthew 8:28-34 – Gadarene demoniacs
● Mark 1:23-34

We can see that he trained the disciples to do ministry, gave them the authority to heal and cast out demons (Matthew 10:1, Matthew 10:7-8,) and sent them out. After Jesus death, resurrection and ascension, we see the early church ministering deliverance also.

steps to Freedom

The Lord wants His people to be healed and free in order to minister more effectively to others. Victory Made Through Christ prayer teams minister to people in need of healing for brokenness and bondages caused by crippling relationships or circumstances of their pasts. Come for your own benefit for more victory in your life, and to be trained to help pray for others!

Healing and Deliverance

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted and to announce that captives shall be released and the blind shall see, that the down-trodden shall be freed from the oppressors, and that God is ready to give blessings to all who come to him.”  Luke 4:18-19
Prayer Sessions are based on biblical teaching which includes confession of sin, forgiveness, assurance of forgiveness and absolution.  from sin, healing, deliverance and empowered by Holy Spirit bondages/strongholds are cut in the name of Jesus, by the blood shed at Calvary, spirits are bound and cast out in the name of Jesus, by the blood shed at Calvary, Smashing of images, and cleansing and healing of wounds through healing prayers. A fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, claim gifts, claim fruits of the spirit, and Gods armor is place upon the person receiving ministry.

This ministry is designed for believers and future believers. For those who are in crisis the ministry aims to save, deliver, and equip. as a crisis ministry but rather to facilitate a deep and profound work, helping people submit their lives and problems to God’s forgiveness and healing, being conducted by an experienced team working in unity with Holy Spirit to facilitate a totally confidential ministry.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You knowing and declaring that You are the God of the impossible. Nothing is too hard for You. No situation is beyond Your reach. No circumstance is outside Your power.Your Word declares,“With God all things are possible.” — Matthew 19:26When we stand in places that feel impossible, uncertain, or overwhelming, we choose to lift our eyes to You. It is in these moments that You reveal Yourself most clearly—not as distant, but as present, faithful, and mighty.Lord, You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ask or imagine, according to Your power at work within us.“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” — Ephesians 3:20We thank You that when impossibility confronts us, Your promises become alive and the resources of heaven are released. Every promise You have spoken stands firm. Every provision You have prepared is already in motion.“Is anything too hard for the Lord?” — Genesis 18:14“For nothing will be impossible with God.” — Luke 1:37Father, we place this impossible situation fully into Your hands. We surrender our understanding, our timelines, and our expectations. We trust not in what we can see, but in who You are.Where there is fear, release faith.Where there is weakness, release strength.Where there is confusion, release clarity.Where there seems to be no way, make a way.“I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” — Jeremiah 32:27We choose to believe that You are working even now—behind the scenes, ahead of us, and within us. What looks impossible to us is the very place where You display Your glory. We stand on Your promises. We trust in Your power. We rest in Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus,Amen. ... “Living in the righteousness of Christ weakens the enemy’s influence, and prayer aligns us with God’s will and power.”

Our confidence is not in our own strength or strategies, but in who we are in Christ.Through Jesus, we are made righteous not by works, but by grace. When we walk in that identity, the enemy loses ground.Prayer doesn’t make us powerful on our own—it aligns us with God, His truth, His authority, and His purposes. Righteousness keeps us rooted. Prayer keeps us dependent.Victory belongs to Jesus. We simply live from it. “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 15:57 ... See MoreSee Less

Preparing for the Battle

Jesus warned us that when the seed of God’s Word is sown, the enemy comes quickly to steal it—especially from those who are growing, stepping out, or saying, “Use me, Lord.”The devil doesn’t fight fair. He targets the vulnerable, the new believer, and those making a real difference for the Kingdom. But we are not unaware of his schemes. This is why we pray. This is why we stand together. This is why we prepare. If you’re experiencing resistance, confusion, or opposition after stepping out in faith—don’t be discouraged. Take heart.“The Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” — 1 John 4:4Stay rooted. Stay covered. Father God

I come to You carrying things I was never meant to carry alone. The worries, the responsibilities, the heartbreak, the unanswered questions, they’ve piled up until my soul feels tired, not just my body.Lord, Your Word says that You invite the weary and the burdened to come to You,and that You will give rest.So today I lay down the weight of the world at Your feet.I release the pressure to fix everything.I surrender the need to hold everyone together.I let go of the fear that if I stop striving, everything will fall apart.Jesus, You already carried the heaviest burden of all the cross. You carried my sin, my shame, my past, and my future. So now I exchange my heaviness for Your peace.Holy Spirit, breathe life back into the places that feel crushed. Restore what exhaustion has stolen.Remind me that I am not alone, and I was never meant to be strong without You.In Jesus mighty name Amen Amen Amen ... See MoreSee Less
